BSJ Weekend Briefing 11.22.19: Rask comes up big, Celtics in Denver, Brady leads 'questionable' Patriots

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder how Tuukka Rask stopped that puck with his blocker hand...

• The Bruins held off the Sabres last night 3-2 in a good, solid all-around game. That young Buffalo team is fun to watch.


• Tuukka Rask was the star of the game after the Bruins left him alone by himself in the first period, and then he got acrobatic late.


• The fast-starting Celtics take in the Nuggets tonight, and B-Robb has seven early-season trends to check out.


• The Patriots-Cowboys injury report is out and it's lengthy for both sides. Tom Brady has suddenly popped up as questionable with a right elbow injury. Obviously he's playing, but I'm sure everyone will be watching his accuracy.


• Other questionable Patriots: Marcus Cannon (Scar said he's been sick but will play), Ja'Whaun Bentley, Patrick Chung, Phillip Dorsett, Nate Ebner, Julian Edelman, Damien Harris, Jason McCourty (popped up today with a groin), Mohamed Sanu (limited today), John Simon, Matthew Slater (limited today with a hamstring).


• Cowboys have a big injury with LB Leighton Vander Esch out with a serious neck injury. LG Connor Williams has been limited all week with a knee injury. He should play and would be a big add. He missed last week.
