BSJ Weekend Briefing 11.15.19: Myles Garrett loses his mind; Patriots, Celtics & Bruins on the road

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder how people are going to freak out today...

• In case you missed it last night, the Browns were on their way to another big win, over the rival Steelers, when Myles Garrett completely lost his mind, hit Mason Rudolph over the head with his own helmet, and then Maurkice Pouncey went full Fight Club on Garrett.

• Just another episode of Thursday Night Football.


• Obviously Garrett's going to get suspended for the rest of the season, or at least close to it. Anything beyond that — like lawsuits and youth football implications — is stupid and reactionary.


• Shaq Mason better be healthy on Sunday — and judging by the way he was walking in the locker room yesterday, he is not — because Fletcher Cox is a monster and playing his best ball of the season.


• Everything you wanted to know about the Eagles but were afraid to ask, Geoff Mosher has you covered. Great intel here.


• Pretty big early-season back-to-back at Toronto and home against Washington for the Bruins considering what happened the other night and their four-game losing streak. We'll get a sense of who this team is this weekend.


• The red-hot Celtics hit the road, starting tonight at Golden State.


• This Astros sign-stealing stuff is pretty interesting and Alex Cora had to be involved. Will be interesting to see what happens with it.
