Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if Dave Roberts has moved from the Dodgers dugout yet ...
- While you were sleeping last night, you missed an epic playoff that basically boiled down to Dave Roberts (likely on orders from GM Andrew Friedman — no way I want that guy in Boston) sending pitchers out for a second inning from hell. Twice.
- With the Dodgers up 3-1, Clayton Kershaw got the final out of the seventh inning with a three-pitch strikeout. Then Roberts sent him back out, and this is what happened on back-to-back pitches.

- So it's tied at this point. Roberts tempts fate by bringing in Joe Kelly for the ninth.
- But Kelly mows down the Nationals in order.

- And there's another Game 5 tonight: Rays vs. Astros. Tyler Glasnow vs. Gerrit Cole. Giddy up.
- In other news, the Patriots are hosting the G-Men tonight at Gillette. Some iffy weather, but I still think the Patriots blow them out. I'm predicting a shutout. So you're welcome for the 10-0 deficit and comeback win for the Patriots.
