Celtics release preseason schedule for 2019

The Celtics will have a four-game preseason schedule for the third straight season in 2019, highlighted by the debut of Kemba Walker in a Celtics uniform against his former team at the TD Garden.

Boston’s four-game preseason schedule will feature a home-and-home matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second straight preseason. The Celtics will host the Hornets and Cavs at the TD Garden and play road tilts against Orlando and Cleveland, playing three games within a five-day span at one point. Here's a look at the full slate:

Sunday October 6: vs. Charlotte (6 p.m.)
Friday October 11: @ Orlando (7 p.m.)
Sunday October 13: vs. Cleveland (3 p.m.)
Tuesday October 15: @ Cleveland (7 p.m.)

All games will be broadcast on NBC Sports Boston and 98.5 the Sports Hub. Ticket info to be released at a later date. Training camp will start for the Celtics in late September. The official regular season schedule for the Celtics will be released on Monday afternoon at 3 p.m.
