Bedard’s Daily Briefing 07.09.19: MLB All-Star Game, epic HR derby, Legend of Tacko Fall

[get_snippet] [theme-my-login show_title=0]

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder if Vlad Guerrero Jr. can swing any harder...

  • Give me the MLB All-Star Game and inject it into my veins. I've always loved everything about it since I was a kid. It used to be even more special before interleague play, but I still get geeked up to watching player introductions and the first couple trip through the starters. Then I would wait to see when Mike Greenwell or Bruce Hurst, etc. would get into the game.
  • I'm not the biggest HR Derby guy, but last night was a lot of fun. The Joc Pederson-Vlad Jr. deathmatch was awesome and great theater. Happy to see the other players enjoying it as well.
