Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your Thursday. Grab your coffee and let’s get to it.

Going to jump right into things this morning because there's a lot of good stuff for you guys to check out.

Now, on with the links…

1. I took a look at a handful of potential early draft targets for the Patriots, and what it might take to land them. There are a lot of really interesting names on this list, but one guy I’m really starting to fall for is Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell.

2. New England added tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins on Wednesday. I talked to someone in New York — where he enjoyed the greatest success of his professional career — about why he was successful with the Jets. Greg takes a closer look, and says that if New England is getting that version of Seferian-Jenkins, then he's got a chance to make an impact.

3. Bill Belichick had his annual pre-draft press conference on Wednesday at Gillette Stadium, and offered a few insights into draft philosophy, the coaching staff, and a few other topics. Good stuff. (Here’s the full transcript.)
