Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if we oversold the Celtics' drama this season ... I mean, look at the Lakers...
- Chris Sale stunk again yesterday and sounds completely lost ... great.
- Nice seeing Manny back at the park.
- Patriots stole the pre-game show again. If it's not a small group of the brass, the Sox should just give them their own day in August during training camp.
- By the way, all the chatter about the Patriots being mad at the Red Sox, and there being a vendetta between the two owners is just so utterly ridiculous. Yes, there has been an inferiority complex that has swung from the Patriots to the Red Sox over time, but no one cares what the Globe does or doesn't report on.
- Check out the photos of the Patriots' outing at Fenway last year in camp ... the Red Sox basically let them have their run of the place. Yeah, a ton of animosity. Yeah, they're worried about Bob Hohler...
- The NHL playoffs are here ... yessssss.
- Next stop for the Celtics: postseason.
- Pats preseason opponents are set.
- Happy trails, D-Wade. Fortunate to have covered him up close during the early stages of his career, especially the 2006 postseason. What he did in The Finals against Dallas that year ... amazing.
