- After reeling off a 19-game point streak for over six weeks, the Bruins are now stuck in a two-game losing streak — with the club relinquishing 11 combined goals in regulation defeats against the Penguins and Blue Jackets. Boston will look to right the ship on the final game of its road trip when it battles the Jets.
- The list of injured Bruins continues to grow — with Kevan Miller (upper body), Marcus Johansson (lung contusion), David Pastrnak (thumb), Matt Grzelcyk (upper body), Jake DeBrusk (foot) and Torey Krug (upper body) all out of commission for Thursday.

- They might stand in first place in the Central Division out West, but the Jets have dropped three out of their last four games — including a last-minute loss to the Sharks on home ice back on Tuesday.
