TORONTO -- Another rough game for the Celtics on Tuesday night featured yet another animated conversation on the court between a veteran and a young player. As the Raptors were burying the Celtics in the midst of an impressive second-quarter run, Marcus Smart let Jaylen Brown hear about a questionable decision he made in the midst of a fast break.

Brown, who had played well early in his first-half stint, tried to attack the basket in transition against two waiting defenders. Kyle Lowry had abandoned his man (Smart) to set up shop at the rim, which allowed  Smart to set himself up for the corner 3. Brown either didn’t see Smart or declined to make the pass, which led to Lowry absorbing a charge at the rim.
