9:40: Carlo nearly scores, then Chara cleans up a 3-on-1 rush down the other end of the ice.

9:18: Don't understand the no call on that trip on Pastrnak. Marchand has a few words for the ref after play is dead.
9:15: Oskar Lindblom cashes in on the power play. 2-2 game with 9:24 to go.

9:11: Bruins head to the PK. Kuraly heads off for a hold.
9:06: Scott Laughton blocks a shot from John Moore and gets a breakaway. He's stopped but gets a penalty shot — however, his shot goes high. Stills a 2-1 game.
9:01: Nordstrom nearly buries a great rebound chance. Fell right into his lap.
8:55: Third period is underway.
8:37: End Second: Bruins lead the Flyers, 2-1. Pastrnak leading the way with a pair of goals, while Rask is up to 24 saves.
8:27: David Pastrnak came thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to a hat trick with 4:25 to go in the second period.
8:18: TD Garden just showed a video of Max Kellerman and that might have been the loudest chorus of boos I've heard at the rink so far this season.
8:11: Crazy to think that 50 goals might actually be in reach for Pastrnak this season.
8:08: That's Goal No. 30 for David Pastrnak. It's the 51st game of the season. 2-1 Bruins.
8:05: Nice play by Heinen to win a puck battle along the boards and feed Backes for a one-timer. Shot is blocked, but those are the kind of plays that Heinen has to make.
8:02: Shaky start for McAvoy so far. He failed to clear a puck on the backhand and it led to a great look by Philly. He then slams the door upon returning to the Bruins bench.
7:59: Second period underway.
7:42: End First: Bruins and Flyers are tied, 1-1. Rough goal to give up in the final minute of the stanza.
7:40: Giroux slips past Boston's blue line and beats Rask. 1-1 game with 43.2 seconds left in the first.
7:30: B's controlling play so far. A few scary stints with Rask handling the puck, but SOG in favor of Boston, 9-4.
7:24: Chris Wagner drills Couturier at the blue line. Nice, heavy hit.

- After missing Tuesday’s matchup against the Jets while recovering from a concussion, Tuukka Rask will return to the lineup on Thursday. It will be the goalie’s first matchup since getting barreled over by Rangers winger Filip Chytil back on Jan. 19. For more on the importance of Rask’s return, click here.
- Along with Rask’s return, Boston’s blue line and forward corps have also been shuffled up — with John Moore slotting in for Matt Grzelcyk on defense and Joakim Nordstrom replacing Noel Acciari on the fourth line. Moore has only played once in Boston’s last five games, and will skate in a new pairing with Brandon Carlo on Thursday.
- Nordstrom, who has skated on just about every line and served pretty much every role up front for Boston, will return to game action after missing the past month after suffering a fractured fibula during the Winter Classic back on Jan. 1.
- Boston might still be in a playoff spot, but the B’s have hit a skid — dropping four out of its last five games, including two straight on home ice. The Bruins have not lost three in a row in any fashion at TD Garden since Dec. 8-15, 2016.
- The Flyers might be out on the playoff picture, but they’re one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment, winning six straight contests entering Thursday’s matchup. Philly posted a 4-3 comeback win over the Bruins in their last meeting on Jan. 16.
