FOXBOROUGH — Patriots players were pretty fired up after the game when it came to the second-half confrontation between coach Bill Belichick and Minnesota receiver Adam Thielen.
Everything started roughly midway through the fourth quarter. After the officials said Minnesota’s Latavius Murray managed to pick up a yard after a fourth-and-1, New England’s Patrick Chung went down with what looked like an injury. It appeared the Patriots were considering a challenge -- that’s when Thielen took exception, yelling "That's (expletive)." Belichick yelled right back -- adroit lipreaders caught Belichick telling Thielen to “shut the (expletive) up.”
