WHAT’S UP: The Revs try to stop a six-game slide when they travel down to our nation’s capital to take on the last team they have a win against, and that is the new-look DC United. Things have changed since the two sides met at Gillette on June 30: DC United is surging with the signing of Wayne Rooney, and the Revs, well… are regressing.

Revs in the red and white change stripe tonight. DC in the home black shirts. Diego Fagundez and his fresh cut gets us started on FS1. Periodic updates below.
1' Some good football by the Revs as Penilla feeds Bunbury, then lays off to Diego. His shot is handled by Hamid.
4' Caicedo gets flung down by Acosta. No card..... after the restart, Penilla has a go, right on at Hamid.
5' Scott Caldwell with a cross denial at the end line, corner to DC.
6' The second corner is cleared by Mancienne.
7' SC6 plows through Rooney. Good professional foul by the Braintree native.
8' Fisher with a go from just outside the box, and Turner handles it.
9' SC6 clips Acosta in the box, Acosta goes down and there's a shout for a penalty, and Ted Unkel isn't having it. Caldwell had a nice clearance right before that, too.
End 9' Two chances for DC, one going off Mancienne toward the goal: Turner stops it. He stops the second attempt, too.
11' Handbags! Unkel gives Caicedo a yellow after a push on Acosta.
13' GOAL DC UNITED, as it's Luciano Acosta. He drives in the cross from Paul Arriola after Arriola blows by Brandon Bye, and Acosta is pretty much unmarked on the other side. 1-0 to United.
