Patriots training camp practice No. 12: Brady back with full load, Jones & Bentley in mix taken at Gillette Stadium (Patriots)

After two days away from the football field following Thursday night's preseason win over Washington, the Patriots will take to the practice field today at 3:15 p.m.

Rumor is the Patriots will be going hard for the next three days before Thursday's game vs. the Eagles. These are the final three practices open to the public.

We'll be back with the highlights.

Here we go:


  • Not spotted initially: RB Sony Michel, RB Rex Burkhead, LB Harvey Langi, RT Marcus Cannon, WR Kenny Britt.

  • CORRECTION: WR Kenny Britt is on the field and taking part.

  • S Jordan Richards, who left the preseason game after a headshot, is on the field.

  • Biggest lineup change to this point: Isaiah Wynn is the second-team right tackle.

  • Britt, Trey Flowers and Jason King are on the rehab field.

  • CB Jonathan Jones is back in the mix and starting at nickel.

  • Braxton Berrios had a nice back shoulder from Brady in 1 on 1s.

  • Brady went deep up top to Edelman with Van Noy of all people in coverage.

  • Decker and Edelman working with the QBs during a special teams period. Gronk and Lucien have joined in.

  • Trent Brown and Adrian Clayborn had two good battles in 1 on 1s. Brown soundly beat him twice.

  • As expected, Ja'Whaun Bentley is getting more looks with the starters.

  • A lot of drops from receivers in 11 on 11s with the wet conditions.

  • Keionta Davis is getting a look as a sub rusher. He was playing for Trey Flowers.




  • A little bit more intensity today.

  • Lot of Bentley with the starters.

  • Jason McCourty was second-team right corner.

  • Had Brady with 12 of 15 in 11 on 11s, Hoyer 10 of 15.
