The Red Sox got a doubleheader sweep from the dreadful Orioles thanks to J.D. Martinez's two home runs in a 6-4 win at Fenway South.
The Sox used seven pitchers to scrap together the victory. Craig Kimbrel gave up a home run before securing his 34th save.

8:36: Back-to-back walks by Workman loads the bases with the two outs. He has not been sharp. He needs to start getting ahead of batters. .... Workman does with a curveball, and that leads to an inning-ending force out at second. Phew.

8:24: Pearce saves Devers from himself again on a poor throw on a routine play. Workman now enters with two outs and a runner on second in the third. Velazquez threw 41 pitches, 23 for strikes.

7:59: After Chris Davis didn't try to score on a groundball to second with the infield back, Mookie Betts makes a tremendous play on a foul pop and Davis again stays at second.
