The Celtics will have a four-game preseason schedule for the second straight season in 2018, highlighted by the trip to the Dean Dome in late September.
Boston’s four-game preseason schedule will feature a pair of home-and-home matchups against the Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Celtics will follow up their preseason opener at UNC against the Hornets with home games against Charlotte on Sept. 30 and Cleveland on Oct. 2, both of which will be played at TD Garden. Boston concludes its preseason schedule in Cleveland on Oct. 6.
Here's a look at the full slate:
Friday Sept. 28: at Charlotte, 7:30 p.m. (Dean Smith Center)
Sunday Sept. 30: vs. Charlotte, 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday Oct. 2: vs. Cleveland, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday Oct. 6: at Cleveland 7:30 p.m.
All games will be broadcast on NBC Sports Boston and 98.5 the Sports Hub. Ticket info to be released at a later date. Training camp will start for the Celtics in late September and will take place at the team's new practice facility in Brighton. Boston's regular season opener is expected to occur during the third week in October. The official regular schedule is set to be released in August.
