LAS VEGAS -- The Celtics are expected to rest Robert Williams for Saturday's summer league game against the Nuggets due to his ongoing bout with knee tendinitis.

The No. 27 overall pick had his debut shortened on Friday night in summer league after bumping knees with a Sixers player in the first quarter. He finished with four points and two rebounds in just six minutes of action before being ruled out for the final three quarters.

Williams admitted after the game that clanking knees had aggravated the spot where he had been dealing with tendinitis pain.
