Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I figure out what might own personal goal differential is ...
- Chris Sale must have bought the boys some really nice popsicles because they gave him a whole five runs of support on Sunday. The Sox had scored three runs or less for him in 11 of his previous 16 starts.
- Sale has become absolutely filthy of late. I mean, he's always great but he's taken it to another level. Last three starts: 2-0, 1.35 ERA, nine hits, 33 K's, two walks, 0.750 WHIP in 20 innings.
- Jackie Bradley's day does not get acknowledged until he strings three games in a row.
- Brian Robb reports the Celtics inquired about trading up for Michael Porter Jr. when he fell to the teens. Nuggets took him at No. 14. Interesting
- Julian Edelman will reportedly have the appeal of his PED suspension heard today. I wouldn't say there's no hope for him, given some of the circumstances, but these things rarely go the player's way.
- It will be heard in front of at least three third-party arbitrators not affiliated with the NFL, NFLPA or teams. So it's not like it's stacked.
