With OTAs in full swing and two months to go before the start of training camp, here’s a look at the Patriots’ roster by position, with (at least) one lingering question for each spot.

Quarterback (3): Tom Brady, Brian Hoyer, Danny Etling

No surprises here. Is Etling is a practice-squad possibility for 2018?

Running back (7): James White, Rex Burkhead, Sony Michel, Mike Gillislee, Jeremy Hill, Brandon Bolden, Ralph Webb.

You don’t want to put too much on Michel’s shoulders too soon, but he figures to be the back to take over the bulk of the work. Going to be interesting to see what sort of role Gillislee might have with this team going forward. Is Ralph Webb the next surprise story in the New England backfield?

Fullback (1): James Develin

No surprises. With six years in New England, does Develin have one of the most secure roster spots on the team?
