FOXBOROUGH — This will be a muted version of our comprehensive mini-camp/training camp practice reports. It's only the second day of full-squad workouts, and they're not close to having pads on. It's hard to draw too many judgments from the Underwear Olympics.

Without Tom Brady, the passing game wasn't sharp: File this under, Yeah, tell me things I don't know you idiot. With Brady elsewhere for whatever reason, the Patriots were left with journeyman Brian Hoyer and rookie Danny Etling. The QBs, in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, were a combined 15-of-33. Hoyer was 11-for-24 with an interception by Marquis Flowers. The good news? He started 1 of 8 and went 10 of 16 the rest of the way -- if you want to call that good news...
