Bedard: Jaylen Brown (hamstring) says he’ll be ok – he better be vs. 76ers

Oh no, not another one.

That was the sentiment that shot through an electric TD Garden crowd, with 3:04 remaining in the second quarter of Saturday night's Game 7 against the Bucks, when Jaylen Brown signaled he needed to come out of the game and then limped quickly to the sideline.

Not again...

We don't blame anyone for feeling that way during this, The Season That Could Have Been had Gordon Hayward and then Kyrie Irving also leave games and never return.

Brown didn't return, but only because the Celtics didn't need him as they pulled away to a 112-96 victory to win the series over the Bucks and move on to face the 76ers starting Monday night.

And he vowed to be on the floor when that anticipated throwback war commences.
