Well, probably not. They’re just like any boards in another arena, but Kevan Miller's shot — when he launched a puck wide of the net in Game 7 against the Maple Leafs — was with a purpose
The missed shot was intentionally wide. The end result was a fortuitous bounce for Patrice Bergeron, who collected the puck off the boards and scored to give the Bruins a 3-2 lead in their 7-4 win last Wednesday.
