Seattle Sounders FC bench boss Brian Schmetzer thought his side deserved three points Sunday after finally finding their scoring touch (after going three matches without a goal, the Sounders scored twice against Sporting Kansas City). But an early 78th-minute Graham Zusi tally spoiled the happy flight back to the Pacific Northwest.
Zusi took a volley from the middle third and found space as he attacked from the right. Sounders left back Nouhou Tolo didn’t challenge the U.S. international, but centerback Chad Marshall slid half a heartbeat too late as Zusi buried the equalizer from point-blank range to earn SKC a point.

- It has happened six other times in MLS history: a pair of brothers taking the pitch together. The seventh occurrence was in that Seattle-SKC match, as Alex and Cristian Roldan both started for the Sounders. Alex helped on Cristian's 73rd-minute tally, which was the fifth instance of brothers combining for a goal.
- The Revs travel to Columbus to take on the Crew Saturday night, and Crew striker Gyasi Zardes is tied for second in the MLS scoring ledgers in '18. He's got four goals so far in seven matches, and is tied with eight other players. It should also be noted here that Zardes has registered 630 minutes played -- seven full matches
- New England posted the second-lowest attendance in MLS this past weekend with 11,508. Colorado Rapids had the dubious honor of the lowest with 11,2382. Atlanta United saw 45,001 pack Arthur Blank's new gridiron and world footballing palace to grab top honors and to watch the Five Stripes duel NYCFC to a 2-2 draw in a nationally-televised tilt Sunday night...

- The Bent Musket reported some excellent news for Boston Breakers season-ticket holders last Thursday: they will finally, after nearly three months since the team collapsed and canceled its season, get their refunds. National Women's Soccer League managing director Amanda Duffy sent this email to season ticket holders with information about how to process the refund, and added that, "I want to reiterate that we are all disappointed about the loss of the team. The Breakers have been an essential part of the growth of women’s soccer and the NWSL, and I want to assure you that we hope to bring women’s professional soccer back to Boston in the future."
- We'll leave you with this nugget about the potentials of Cincinnati entering MLS, and how one fan feels.
