Jaylen Brown left the Celtics-Timberwolves game at the two-minute mark of the third quarter on Thursday night after falling hard on his back following a made dunk.
The 21-year-old guard spent several minutes on the floor as the Celtics medical staff tended to him under the basket. Brown threw down an impressive dunk in transition and was fouled on the play by Andrew Wiggins. Brown followed through on the play but lost his grip on the rim as his body rose up. The slip caused him to fall at a high speed on his upper back. TNT sideline reporter Allie LaForce indicated that Brown was undergoing concussion protocol and would be brought to an area hospital.
