Jayson Tatum suffers dislocated right pinky vs. Heat

Jayson Tatum suffered a dislocated right pinky in the opening moments of Wednesday's matchup with the Miami Heat.

The rookie dove for a loose ball in the first quarter near halfcourt and appeared to jam or dislocate his pinky on his right hand after a near collision with Heat guard Josh Richardson.

Tatum clutched his hand after the play and was subbed out immediately by Marcus Smart. He walked to the locker room with the Celtics training staff after leaving the game but returned to the bench with a taped hand with two minutes remaining in the quarter. He was available to play for the remainder of the contest.
