Well, this won't make the turkey go down well tomorrow: Tom Brady missed Wednesday's practice for what the team listed as an Achilles injury.
A league source said the injury is minor and there is no reason for concern.
Rob Gronkowski and David Andrews were out with illnesses. Patrick Chung (ankle), Marcus Cannon (ankle) and Chris Hogan (shoulder) also sat out the session.
Players who were limited:
Danny Amendola (knee)
Martellus Bennett (shoulder/hamstring)
Malcolm Brown (ankle)
Eric Rowe (groin)
Matthew Slater (hamstring)
The Dolphins had the following player out of practice:
LB Stephone Anthony (quadriceps)
OG Jermon Bushrod (foot)
QB Jay Cutler (concussion)
DE William Hayes (back)
OT Laremy Tunsil (illness)
BSJ analysis
This sounds scary — and it's definitely something to monitor as he moves around Sunday — but Brady is playing against the Dolphins, just like he always does.
Chung and Gronkowski are also expected to answer the bell. Go back to getting the turkey ready.
