Good morning!
- Well, that was some game between the Kings and the Bruins last night at the Garden. Good, tough, old-fashion hockey.
- There's no way the Bruins should have lost that game, at least before the shootout. Torey Krug has the puck on his stick at mid-ice with 4 seconds left and he tried a terrible stretch pass to Anders Bjork for who-knows-what reason, and the icing set up the game-winning faceoff — and kept Bruce Cassidy from being able to sub Patrice Bergeron for David Pastrnak to take it.
- That led to this.
- And, oh yeah, Krug also tried to make this pass, which led to the other Kings goal. Sure, more led up to this, but what kind of pass is that? And, for the record, I love me some Torey Krug.
- In Miami, the Celtics took care of business against the Heat, with Kyrie Irving putting on a dominating performance down the stretch.
- If you're not checking out the World Series, you're really missing out, but you're in luck: it's now a best-of-three with the series tied 2-2 after the Dodgers won 6-2 last night. Just quality baseball all around, but I don't know what the Astros are going to do about closing out games. Ken Giles has been a disaster.
