Linebacker Shea McClellin was on the practice field for the first time during the regular season Wednesday, but cornerbacks Eric Rowe (groin) and Stephon Gilmore (concussion) and linebacker Harvey Langi (back) were not spotted during the warmup portion of practice.

Rowe has been dogged by a groin injury the previous couple of weeks, while Gilmore missed last week’s game against the Jets with a concussion. Meanwhile, Langi’s injury stems from a car accident last Friday.

As for McClellin, who started the year on injured reserve with an undisclosed health issue, could return later this season. The 28-year-old McClellin appeared in 14 games last season, and finished with 41 tackles, one sack and a pair of blocked kicks. The versatile veteran could provide a big boost when it comes to linebacker depth, as he has experience on the inside and outside.
