Another busy day around these parts. The Patriots shredded the Jaguars in their final joint practice before Thursday night's exhibition game, Brian Robb shared some great Celtics insight, the Red Sox made it seven-straight wins down in Tampa, and we found out Vince Wilfork will announce his retirement today.
Also, there was sad news that former UMass and Patriots coach Dick MacPherson passed away at the age of 86. Not sure you'll find a nicer gentleman in professional sports. My mother worked as a secretary in his UMass office in the 1970s and she always thought the world of him. To me, that was pretty high praise.
As far as site stuff, I'm yelling at people to get the Android app out and I'm still not sure what the holdup is. We're trying, and also share your frustration.
Anyway, let's get going...
