FOXBOROUGH — The pads are on again and the sun is out. Real football is back.

Note: Due to media policies our in-practice observations are limited, but we’ll have a thorough breakdown following the session.

Here we go.....

  • WRs Danny Amendola and Malcolm Mitchell are still in the rehab group. WR Cody Hollister (upper body injury) continues to be out.

  • Rob Gronkowski dominated his "seal-the-edge" reps.

  • Deatrich Wise put James O'Shaughnessy on the ground.

  • Kyle Van Noy mixed into those drills. Might be Rob Ninkovich fallout.

  • Tom Brady spent a lot of time giving center pointers to Ted Karras and James Ferentz before practice. Even showed them how to do a few things. Ferentz has shifted from left guard to center today.

  • Matthew Slater, who has been dealing with something, did some rehab work.

  • Ferentz was knocked on his rear during a running drill.

  • Jacoby Brissett and Rex Burkhard had to run a lap for poor handoff.

  • Cam Fleming bounced back nicely today, going 2-0.

  • Dominating wins: Joe Thuney, Ted Karras, Tony Garcia, Deatrich Wise, Malcolm Browns, Trey Flowers.

  • Offense wins: 13-9-7.

  • Van Noy continues to get work with the edge players.

  • Jonathan Jones was the nickel again.

  • Duron Harmon was not on the field much. Jordan Richards saw an uptick in playing time.

  • A lot of run-game work today.

  • Karras picked off Ealy on a TD run by Dion Lewis.

  • Elandon Roberts and Patrick Chung combined to take down Brandon Bolden for a tackle for a loss at the goal line.

  • Drops today: Matthew Slater, Sam Cotton and Mike Gillislee.
