Good morning!

Another busy summer day in Boston, with the Patriots putting on the pads, David Price talking to the media and coming off worse, the Patriots announcing a top-secret press conference for Sunday (Rob Ninkovich retirement?), and the Red Sox beating the Royals 9-8 in 10 innings early Sunday.

Just because I’ve been asked this a bunch: iOS and Android apps are in the process of being approved, and we hope to have them available by the end of the week. They are being reviewed as we speak. Hoping for any day now.

And just a reminder that the free preview of BSJ ends at 6 a.m. Monday. So if you like what you’ve seen (and this is just a small taste … we’re not even fully operational yet), subscribe today before you’re left out on Monday. We wouldn’t want that to happen!

And thanks to the 1,800-plus people that have already signed up. Our small, independent is fired up for you and where we’re going.

Also, we want our military friends to know that we’ll be working all weekend to get your free accounts set up so you’re ready to roll on Monday.

And away we go…

Red Sox

Hope you guys love reading Sean McAdam's take on the Red Sox as much as I do. Another gem about Price in this piece.

Price is confident he'll be back soon.

McAdam had the live coverage from the Sox' big win, which featured a lot of Eduardo Nunez.

Chris Price and I had our first meaty practice report now that the pads are on. And, yes, those of you who remember my coverage at The Globe ... the one-on-ones report is back.

Price had a full notebook from camp, leading with Mike Gillislee talking highly of his new teammates.

I chatted with readers about the Patriots.

Chris Price and I will be on the Patriots
9:15 a.m.: Patriots practice until 11:30 a.m. at Gillette.
12:15 p.m.: Patriots news conference
1:35 p.m.: Royal at Red Sox, Fenway (McAdam)
2 p.m.: Practice report posts (approximately)
