Patriots camp kicked off on Thursday, and it was a near-perfect day with cool temperatures, the rain held off and ... Gronk danced behind Bill Belichick. That was fun.
Anyways, it's always good to have the Patriots back on the field. They're by far the most popular team in New England at this point (over 15,000 fans at practice), and things were starting to slow up around here.
Chris Price and I were on the scene down in Foxborough. We had a great reception from the Patriots and many of our media colleagues who were impressed with the start of the site and how much you, the readers, have come out strongly in support of the site. There are a lot of media members watching us, and rooting for us.
Price is absolutely right: Gronkowski looked great in his return.
Price had a really good Q&A with our subscribers. All of our writers keep saying the same thing: I never knew a media comment section could be so sane and a pleasure to be in. That's BSJ. And that's you.
Our live coverage post will be there every morning. I posted a handful of videos that you're going to want to check out before the Patriots can ask use to remove them (the NFL's online media policy is so outdated, it was probably typed on Windows 95)
CP did an interview in Portland, Oregon (I prefer Portland, Maine).
ELSEWHERE AT BSJ
David Price's start against the Royals at Fenway will be must-see TV after the latest controversies.
Sean McAdam looks at Dave Dombrowski putting his faith into the team, instead of trades.
B-Robb's still working hard on his honeymoon (God bless that kid). That's how much we love our readers. He asked, "What's up the Shane Larkin signing?
